PriceFile Rolls Out Versatile Sales Ops For Merchants
PriceFile.com, the cornerstone property of PriceFile Inc, an Internet merchant service provider and price comparison engine, today announced their strategy for the 2002 Holiday retailing season.

October 2, 2002, Minneapolis, Minnesota, for immediate release- PriceFile.com , the cornerstone property of PriceFile Inc, an Internet merchant service provider and price comparison engine, today announced their strategy for the 2002 Holiday retailing season.

"We plan to emphasize the ease with which merchants can exploit their PriceFile accounts for greater sales volume during this critical shopping season.", said Andrew Sullivan, President, "PriceFile offers a unique opportunity for merchants to feature special deals, limited quantities and unique items in an on-the-fly database resource which can be integrated into their site as well as exploited in pricefile.com's pricing engine."

PriceFile's home site, www.pricefile.com, not only features thousands of merchant listings from hundreds of online retailers, but also two directories where shoppers can find stores in their local geographic area, for significant savings on shipping charges, and also locate stores by name, perhaps getting back in touch with a retailer who has provided outstanding service and value in the past.

In addition to these two directories, PriceFile also features another website property- www.brandlist.com, which is integral to providing a complete shopping experience, allowing visitors to find links to sometimes obscure manufacturer sites in order to download new drivers for hardware, view technical specifications, and get the latest news on upcoming products.

In the past year, PriceFile has upgraded its database engine and website design, making the site more robust and the online merchant account interface more versatile. Merchants can enter products in the database with greater speed and ease than ever before, and include their logo with every listing. With the addition of the Store Directories and enchanced BrandList presence, the yearly fee to merchants of $99 - with a 30-day guarantee of satisfaction- is a sales and marketing opportunity seldom encountered anywhere on the web and a bargain price-wise when compared to other websites offering similar services.

PriceFile looks forward to a season of growth for its web endeavors and increased sales for the merchants who take full advantage of PriceFile services.

PriceFile.com taps Lucrative Government Technology Markets
Minneapolis, MN April 16th, 2002, for immediate release-
Vendors listing products at www.pricefile.com profit from the $15 billion government credit card market. Currently, over 500,000 federal, state, and local governments employees hold government approved credit cards. Government agency credit card use is estimated to exceed $16 billion this Fiscal Year, up from $14.8 last year. The average amount of a government credit card transaction is also on the rise. The vast majority of government cardholders are end-users who have been delegated authority to make purchases up to $2,500 from a single source. The $2,500 ceiling for a single purchase is a federal limit; some states and localities have limits that can be as high as $25,000.

"One of our primary objectives is getting our vendor's offerings in front of goverment and institutional credit card holders as cost-effectively as possible.", says PriceFile CEO Andrew Sullivan. "Thats why we exist... We help our vendors gain exposure, traffic and new customers in the Gov Sector...It's up to them to keep them coming back."

Each week PriceFile.com will recieve numerous Bid requests from actual Government & Educational purchasers. These requests are forwarded exclusively to PriceFile vendors, providing additional oppurtunities to break into this lucrative market. Government credit card holders purchase products or services from any source they choose. The process is almost restriction free and works much like the process your company would go through in purchasing products or services: they simply go to the internet, grab a catalog, or pick up the telephone, and make a purchase. The advantage to government purchasers using a credit card rather than another method of purchase is that they can save over $50 per transaction.
